Finding a Stable Home

Lone soldiers face many challenges and one of the most significant is finding suitable and affordable housing. Without family support, this task can be especially difficult. The Yishmereni Centre provides guidance and active assistance in locating rental apartments and alternative housing solutions, while taking into account each soldier’s needs and financial situation. We work closely with various partners to ensure that every lone soldier has a safe and stable place to live in.

Creating a Warm Home: Furniture and Essential Equipment

Beyond finding housing, many lone soldiers struggle with setting up a home from scratch and obtaining basic furnishings and household items. We assist in collecting and distributing furniture, appliances, kitchen equipment and other essentials needed to create a comfortable and functional living environment. Our goal is to ease the financial burden and allow soldiers to focus on their military service, knowing they have a welcoming and fully equipped home to return to.

Personal Guidance and Ongoing Support

Housing assistance does not end with finding an apartment and providing furniture. We offer ongoing guidance and support with apartment maintenance, communication with landlords and assistance with additional needs or unexpected challenges. We consider every lone soldier part of our family and are committed to providing the support and resources needed to help them feel truly at home.
